Dire Straits Tribute

Naše kapela se zabývá interpretací písniček z prvního období Dire Straits, jejichž autorem je virtuózní kytarista a zpěvák Mark Knopfler. Hrajeme repertoár z několika alb, vydaných na přelomu 70. a 80. let minulého století. Na našem koncertě uslyšíte hity jako Sultans Of Swing, Water Of Love, Once Upon A Time In The West nebo Lady Writer i méně známé písně, které jsou podle našeho názoru nedoceněné. Stejně tak druhé album Communiqué, které je po stránce kytarové hry opravdový klenot. Snad nikde jinde nemá kytara Fender Stratocaster hlavního protagonisty tak krásný a čistý tón, jako v nádherných písních alba, natočeného na Bahamách. Aranže jen velmi úsporně doplňují klávesové nástroje a proto jeho nadčasový a desítkami let prověřený repertoár umožňuje vyniknout naší čtyřčlenné sestavě.


Our band specializes in interpreting the early repertoire of Dire Straits, originally written by the virtuoso guitarist and singer Mark Knopfler. We perform material from the albums released at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s. In our live setlist, you will hear timeless hits like Sultans Of Swing, Water Of Love, Once Upon A Time In The West, or Lady Writer, alongside lesser-known songs that we believe remain deeply underrated. This includes material from the second album, Communiqué, which is a true masterpiece of guitar work. Perhaps nowhere else does the frontman's Fender Stratocaster possess such a beautiful, clean, and pristine tone as in the magnificent songs of this album, which was originally recorded in the Bahamas. With the arrangements tastefully and minimally complemented by keyboards, this timeless, decades-tested repertoire allows our four-piece lineup to truly shine.
